Marilyn Holdsworth announces the release of ‘Making Wishes’
Author of ‘Pegasus’ and ‘The Beautiful American’ publishes third book
SAN MARINO, Calif. – In her new book “Making Wishes” (published byAuthorHouse), author Marilyn Holdsworth presents an engrossing look at the challenges facing today’s women.
In “Making Wishes,” readers meet Elloree Prince, a creative young mind who ties the knot with a wealthy businessman, Tom Randall. In due course, Tom moves with Elloree to Oak View, a place where generations of Randalls have lived. Elloree takes her responsibilities with dedication, but her inner artist craves to break free. Her former employer Mark Williams offers her a lucrative post, tearing her into two: a wife dedicated to her family and an artist desperate for freedom.
Based on Holdsworth’s own life experiences, “Making Wishes” paints an interesting picture of balancing career and family.
“Many women today are confronted with difficult career choices that dramatically impact the family,” says Holdsworth, who notes that she wants her book to inspire new thoughts around this important issue.
